Our marine advisor will board transiting vessels in the vicinity off One Fathom Bank (OFB) at PBP-1 (Pilot boarding position).
Prior to boarding, TACM pilot will carryout preparatory works such as checking the tide tables at the various critical points of crossingand also check for the latest safety navigational warnings and plan their passage waypoints accordingly.
After having safely brought the vessel through the congested waterways of the Malacca and Singapore Straits our marine advisor will normally disembark at PDP-1 (Pilot Disembarkation Point) in the vicinity of EASTERN BUOY.
For vessels engaging TACM for the above advisory service, our pilot will board at PBP-2 in the vicinity off Tanjong Bulat and disembark at PDP-2 in the vicinity off One Fathom Bank.
TACM pilot will usually board at PBP-3 in the vicinity off Karimun Besar.
This service also includes anchoring at the (Port of Singapore Authority non-compulsory)
anchorages e.g. vessels calling at Singapore for bunkering and other ship husbandry services.
For vessels engaging TACM for the above advisory service, our pilot will usually board at PBP-4 in the vicinity off Tanjong Bulat and disembarked off Nipah Beacon or some mutually agreeable position.
TACM also provides anchoring of deep draft vessels in the busy and congested waters in and around WEST and EAST OPL SINGAPORE.
TACM pilot boarding position for the above advisory service will be determined in consultation with the vessel's master.
TACM has a team of experienced Mooring Masters handling the safe mooring and unmooring of Suezmax and VLCCs conducting STS operations in the busy and congested waters off Tanjong Pelepas and Pasir Gudang anchorages.
Our mooring masters/STS superintendents are well versed with the prevailing requirements for the safe conduct of STS operations and carryout their duties in compliance with OCIMF recommendations.
In areas whereby tug services for mooring and unmooring are inadequate, TACM mooring masters are able perform a running moor as required.
Our mooring masters also conduct transfer of cargoes to and from FSUs adhering to OCIMF recommendations for the safe conduct of cargo transfers.
We also provide tow master services for all types and sizes of vessels e.g. VLCCs, FPSOs
FSUs, semi-submersibles and rigs.
TACM also provides loading and unloading of barges, semi-submersibles and rigs onto and from heavy-lift vessels.
